Students from migrant backgrounds and international students often face specific challenges that ultimately stem from the competitive inequalities within this society. These challenges often begin as early as the point of entry, when applying for places and during the admissions process. These range from the insufficient provision of free German language courses, restrictions under residence and employment law, and difficulties in finding work and accommodation, to increasing instances of racism in society and at the university. You can contact us regarding these and other matters. Pleas read the following notes carefully.
We offer some of our counselling services in person and – if necessary – by telephone or video call.
