Hier ist die Erklärung der afrikanischen Organisationen und Gruppen in Hamburg:
We, The group Lampedusa in Hamburg and the Black Communities in Hamburg offer our deepest condolences to the grieving family and friends of George Floyd. We are outraged and extremely saddened by the malicious murder and we stand in solidarity with the protesters in Minneapolis, as well as with all those bearing the pain of racism and discrimination. Again another unarmed Black man has been killed by unnecessary and inappropriate use of fatal force. Sadly, This is not again a single case. Just a few years ago we heard about Eric Garner and only a few months ago, Breonna Taylor was brutally murdered in her own home.
In Hamburg Germany, we remember most recently, the case of Brother Tonou Mbobda whose family still awaits justice to be served.
This not just an American issue. Racialized systemic terror is a 500 year old pandemic and NOW, we must take a stand together as a people. Enough is Enough!
We are calling out for a rally in front of the Consulate General of the United States in Hamburg:
#Justice for George Floyd – #Solidarity with the Floyd family Against epidemic killings of unarmed Black people by police and other White powers!
In observance of the infection protection regulations a registered rally has been permitted on June 5th 2020 in front of the American Consulate General – Alsterufer 27/28, 20354 Hamburg
Please maintain the minimum interpersonal distance of 1,5m and wear protective masks. If it becomes too crowded, pls. take a few steps back and give space.

Hier unterschreiben Sie, bitte, die Petition: Gerechtigkeit für George Floyd
George Floyd wurde von einem Polizisten aus Minneapolis in den USA ermordet.
George war bereits mit Handschellen gefesselt und bei seiner Festnahme zurückhaltend und völlig kooperativ, als die Situation eskalierte und für ihn tödlich endete. Der Polizist legte ihm sein Knie auf den Nacken und würgte ihn Minute um Minute, während George schrie, dass er nicht atmen könne. Zeugen des Vorfalls bitten den Polizisten wiederholt, sein Knie von Georges Nacken zu nehmen, aber der Polizist hörte nicht zu und würgte ihn weiter.
Nicht, dass es jetzt überhaupt irgendeinen Unterschiedmachen würde, aber George wurde nicht einmal wegen eines Gewaltverbrechens gesucht. Er soll lediglich einen nicht gedeckten Scheck in einem Supermarkt unterschrieben haben.
Wir versuchen, Bürgermeister von Minneapolis Jacob Frey und Staatsanwalt Mike Freeman darauf aufmerksam zu machen, um die an dieser widerlichen Situation beteiligten Beamten zu entlassen und umgehend Anklage zu erheben.
Bitte helfen Sie uns, Gerechtigkeit für George und seine Familie zu erlangen!
